Good News for Non-Root Users: View Data on Non-Rooted Devices with MT Manager πŸŽ‰

Posted on Mar 19, 2023

MT Manager just got a fantastic update! πŸš€ Now, non-root users can easily access and view data on rooted devices, making it a breeze to find the dump.dart file without needing root access or App Cloner. Here’s how you can take advantage of this update.

Why Is This Exciting? 🀩

~ No Root Needed:
You can now access the data without rooting your device.

~ No App Cloner Required:
Forget about using App Cloner. The process is simpler and faster with MT Manager.

Steps to Use MT Manager for Non-Root Users πŸ“²

Step 1: Use reFlutter via Termux

First, follow the reFlutter tutorial (as explained in a previous guide) to generate the release.RE.apk.

Step 2: Open MT Manager (Latest Update)

Make sure you have the latest version of MT Manager installed. You can get the latest APK from the @mtmanager channel.

Step 3: Inject Documents Provider πŸ“„

  1. Open release.RE.apk in MT Manager.
  2. Choose Function -> Inject Documents Provider.
  3. Click OK and then install the app.

Step 4: Access the Dump File πŸ”

  1. Open MT Manager Sidebar:
Tap the three dots in the top-right corner.
  2. Add Local Storage:
Select +Add local storage, then choose your app from the list.
  3. Done!
You’ll find your dump.dart file right there!

Important Notes πŸ“

  • Try the Latest APK:
Make sure you’re using the latest version of MT Manager from the @mtmanager channel.
  • Device Compatibility:
Not all devices may show signs that this method is working. Please provide feedback if it doesn’t work on your device.

My Opinion πŸ—£οΈ

To be honest, I don’t see a huge difference between this method and using App Cloner. In App Cloner, you also go through two stepsβ€”first, enabling the data directory option and then injecting the directory before installation. The only real difference is that MT Manager doesn’t change the app’s package name, whereas App Cloner does.

Still, this update makes the process more streamlined for those who prefer MT Manager! πŸ‘
